Snicker Doodling

Although it was hot out san bought the stuff to make Apple Pie Snicker Doodle Bars. I basically only made the circles for the top but at least I had a hand in it lol. And it tastes like heaven!!

INGREDIENTS:

1 tube refrigerated sugar cookie dough

1 can 20oz apple pie filling

1/4 cup sugar

4 tsp cinnamon

DIRECTIONS:

1. Preheat overn to 350 degrees. cut suger cookie tube in 1/2, press 1/2 into bottom of 8x8 or 9x9 inch pan

2. Mix together the sugar and cinnamon, sprinkle 1/2 over the cookie bottom

3. Spred apple pie filling over crust. Take rest of cookie dough and break of little pieces, roll into balls and flatten slightly, and lay over the apple mixture. Sprinkle with rest of cinnamon and sugar

4. Bake for 35-40 minutes. Let cool completely before cutting

Other than that I've not done too much else not computer related due to the fact it's been so hot today it makes me sweat just to blink so I've been sitting here in my tank and shorts playing in Gimp. I've done a tube, a CT tutorial and I think that's about it other than advertising. Still too hot to do much of anything so I'm sucking down iced tea and thinking about turning on the TV and playing around in Gimp and do a FTU tag tut. I'm not sure what else to do at this point other than go crawl on my bed and pass out extremely early but what fun is that?

Well I'll be off until the next time (probably tomorrow). I'm unsure of what I'll be up to but I'm sure it wont be good.
